More than 7000 people, mostly elderly and working families are being forced to move out of Lower Ngau Tau Kok, the first community building that was constructed in Hong Kong forty years ago.

The block shelters different stores managed by two or more generations of owners who represent a social network of trust and solidarity.

It is one of the last examples of small traditional industry in Hong Kong.
